Oasis Brands and NBC to Host Stay Bright Community Center Cleanup
Oasis Brands is thrilled to announce that its branded retail product line, Fiora®, has partnered with NBC in Los Angeles to host the Stay Bright Community Center Cleanup on Saturday, June 29, supporting the Salesian Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Volunteers at the event will work together – cleaning the gym, classrooms, garden and playground – in order to give the organization the ultimate makeover.
“We developed this project with NBC because we wanted to further demonstrate our increasing corporate citizenship and engagement with the local communities in which we serve,” said Nathan Hanson, CEO of Oasis Brands. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the Salesian Boys and Girls Club, and look forward to lending a helping hand to those in need this weekend.”
Registration to participate in the event is currently open on Fiora’s Facebook page. Those who participate will receive raffle tickets to win prizes at the event itself, including a year’s supply of Fiora Bath Tissue. While Oasis Brands encourages registering online, interested participants will also be able to register at the event itself.
“We chose to work with this particular organization because of their work to enable all young people, especially those who need who need us most, to reach their full potential,” said Hanson. “We may be a small, growing company, but we have big ambitions and will continue to strengthen our efforts to give back.”
Currently, Oasis Brands works hand-in-hand with its local manufacturing teams to give back to those in need by donating to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank to benefit Winchester and Strasburg, Virginia and also working with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in Los Angeles, California, having donated over 50,000 rolls of product to date.
